Gaetano Zvolzi, active from the late 18th to early 19th century! While the exact dates of Gaetano Zvolzi’s birth and death are unknown, he was a composer and piano teacher from Florence, active from the late 18th to early 19th century. Studying under his brother (or father), Zvolzi served as Chapel Music Director and Piano Teacher at the Imperial Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. His works represent a transitional period, moving gradually from the traditional plucked-string harpsichord to the new concept of the struck-string piano. Tokyo M Plus
