A collection of works by Mikolaj Greczki, son of Henryk Greczki, one of the leading composers of 20th-century Poland. Mikolaj, who currently resides in the United States, has carried on his fathers musical legacy while releasing numerous accessible works grounded in his own unique aesthetic sensibility. This album features five works composed between 1998 and 2022. With the exception of the Overture, which has a lively character, each piece begins with a leisurely Lento movement; all of them are beautiful compositions that are somewhat reminiscent of his fathers masterpiece, the Symphony of Sorrows.
