This album features works by Konstantinos Y. Stylianou, many of which are being recorded for the first time worldwide. The pieces have a strong neoclassical atmosphere, and the pairing with Poulenc and Meek demonstrates excellent taste in the selection of pieces. Meek was a Swiss composer born in 1906 who was active in various fields, including painting and literature. Stylianou has been based in Nicosia, Republic of Cyprus, since 1972.
