Their fifth album overall, it was both their final studio album and their masterpiece. Although the band became a four-piece following Rob Deans departure, the smaller lineup allowed their individual styles to blend more intensely. This gave rise to a new sound that combined various elements, including world music rhythms, a European aesthetic sensibility, and ambient textures. The album peaked at No. 12 on the UK charts, and the single Ghosts reached No. 5. (Released in 1981)
