Christian Robat (1952-) is a French composer born in Tunisia, and his music has a unique interest, as if North African musical elements were added to modern French music. Johannes Ernst is a saxophonist born in Walburg, Germany in 1963. He is active as a soloist and the principal alto saxophonist of the Palast Orchestra led by Max Rabe, a very popular singer in Germany. Michael Gielen conducts the orchestra.
