Ulisse, however, aided by the goddess Minerva, returns to his homeland in ragged clothes. Penelope, having resigned herself to the belief that Ulysses was dead, decides to accept the suitors proposals and declares, I will marry the man who can draw my husbands bow and shoot the arrow the farthest, but no one is able to draw Ulysses powerful bow.
