Dea Ring Tokyo Orchestras First Mozart PerformanceViolin Concerto No. 5, Turkish, featuring Joseph LinFounded in 2013, the Dea Ring Tokyo Orchestra has released a series of major works by Bruckner, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, and Mendelssohn, and now the long-awaited Mozart is finally here. For the first time, the orchestra tackles a concerto: Violin Concerto No. 5 in A Major, K., Turkish, performed in collaboration with Joseph Lin, first violinist of the renowned Juilliard String Quartet. Joseph Lynn serves as both soloist and conductor, and the cadenza is his own composition. Symphony No. 29 is conducted by Nishiwaki, as usual. The recording took place at the Vienna Hall in the Fuchu no Mori Arts Theater, renowned for its excellent acoustics.
