This album marks the early overseas recording venture of Jun Fukamachi, a rising star in sound creation at the time, and stands as a landmark work that spearheaded the dawn of J-FUSION. The New York recording session featured Randy & Michael Brecker and the late Anthony Jackson. The Japanese contingent was led by Shuichi Ponta Murakami, who played drums on every track, alongside Kazumi Watanabe, Rei Ohara, Akira Okazawa, and Jake H. Conception. Masayoshi Takano, currently at the height of his popularity, also plays lead guitar on one track, delivering a clean tone that is truly characteristic of him. This masterpiecewhich encapsulates Fukamachis genius, his bursting energy, and the dynamism of an era ushering in a new agedeserves to be reevaluated today.
