Description:

The Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra was established by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government in 1965 as a commemorative cultural project for the Tokyo Olympics. Currently, Kazushi Ohno is the Music Director, Alan Gilbert is the Principal Guest Conductor, Kazuhiro Koizumi is the Honorary Conductor for Life, and Eliahu Inbal is the Citation Conductor. Tatsuya Yabe serves as Solo Concertmaster and Tomoshige Yamamoto as Concertmaster.
