• With the album “Kicking Against The Pricks” Nick Cave dedicates himself exclusively to cover versions. The repertoire chosen for this request is of considerable range: the most diverse genres and musical epochs are reinterpreted.
  In the appropriations, however, one notices Nick Cave’s love and respect for the originals in any case, so that classics like “All Tomorrow’s Parties” by Velvet Underground or “Hey Joe” by Jimi Hendrix are realised with a lot of tact.
  The vinyl editions of Nick were long out of print and traded as rarities. In October the film “20,000 Days on Earth” will be released, in a way (tongue in cheek) a documentary about the life and work of Nick Cave.
