This is a live CD of the Kinki University Wind Ensembles 53rd Annual Concert, held at Festival Hall on December 2, 2013. The concert, held to commemorate the ensembles 50th anniversary, was a grand event featuring guest conductor Johan de Mey. For the Japanese premiere of Johan de Meys UFO Concerto, the ensemble welcomed euphonium player Shoichiro Sotomura as soloist. With Johan de Meys passionate conducting and Shoichiro Sotomuras brilliant solo, and the Kinki University Wind Ensemble to deliver a superb, perfectly synchronized performance.
