“FactoryLights” is the debut album by jazz trumpeter Kosuke Tateoka.The album features performances primarily by the “Kosuke Tateoka 6tet,” a three-horn band composed of Nagoya-based jazz musicians.Five of the six tracks are originals, and the title track, FactoryLights, was inspired by the night views of factories in Muroran, Hokkaido, where Kosuke Tateoka spent his college years.This album offers a rich ensemble sound from the three horns, passionate improvised solos, and a straight-ahead groove.
