In this highly anticipated new album, they have recorded the Salve Regina and Pastorella by Austrian composer Gregor Joseph Werner (16931766). Werner was a composer who contributed to the birth of the Viennese Classical school. He was appointed court Kapellmeister to the Esterhzy family in 1728 and held this position for the rest of his life (after Werners death, Haydn himself took over as court Kapellmeister).
