This is the third release by Norwegian pianist Leif Ove Ansnes, born in 1970, under his exclusive contract with Sony Classical. This is the third and final installment of Ansness three-year projectspanning 2012 to 2014to perform and record Beethovens complete piano concertos. His partner is the up-and-coming Mahler Chamber Orchestra (MCO), and Ansnes both performs on piano and conducts. Titled BeethovenA Journey, this project marks Ansness first recording of Beethovens works.
