This album is a kaleidoscopic collection of percussion music from the 20th and 21st centuries that is intoxicating with the percussion writing styles of various composers. In the world of contemporary music, where noise is treated as part of the music and new sounds are created, the expressive power of percussion instruments has become more powerful. The young percussionists born in 1993, such as Xenakis, who is complex yet light and joyful in tone and groove, Etvs, who changes pitches with the pedal and creates surprisingly varied music from the timpani, and Johans Fischer, who also appears on the prepared vibraphone and creates a cosmic tone, are all happy to play on this album.
