Discover American Piano Music!The theme for the second installment is Night!Launched in 2016, the ambitious new series Anthology of American Piano Music is a wonderful project that unearths underappreciated or forgotten masterpieces from American solo piano works spanning the 18th to the 21st centuries. The second installment, titled Music of the NightAmerican Nocturnes, is a collection of works centered on the theme of night, including nocturnes. Cecile Ricard is a Filipino pianist known for her collaborations with Alban Gerhardt on Hyperion and praised by *The New Yorker* as a pianists pianist. On Danacord, she has also performed lesser-known works by Ornstein and Gottschalk as part of the Husum Castle Music Festival Live Series.
