The Montreal-based psychedelic ambient/synth drone unit LightConductor releases its first new album in five years. Serving as the final chapter of the initial trilogy that began with 2019s *SequenceOne*, this album unfolds a fantastical soundscape centered on extended, slow-burning jams created using vintage synths and analog equipment, layered with minimal beats, shimmering modulations, and laid-back melodies. Blending the transcendent aesthetic sensibilities of Spiritualized and Cluster with the decaying textures reminiscent of William Basinski and GAS, this work delves into darker and more unsettling territory than ever before. It is the culmination of the trilogy, fusing grandiose cosmic sounds with hypnotic psychedelia.
