Throwing Copper featured the band’s biggest single, “Lightning Crashes”, which was number 1 on Modern Rock Radio for 10 weeks. Throwing Copper reached number 1 on the Billboard Top 200 and sold over 10 million copies worldwide. The follow-up albums also reached platinum status and consolidated Live’s place as one of the great rock bands of the 90s.
