The album is filled with the most delicious sounds of the 60’s such as bossa nova, canzone, and jazz, and is a joy to drop the needle and listen to all day long. The strings arrangements throughout the album are impressive, and the flutes and vibraphones that appear here and there are a real treat for the ears. The alto flute on “L’angelo” and the horn ensemble on “Hai lasciato a casa il tuo sorriso” are superb.
