The ensemble has completed a complete recording of Monteverdi’s “Madrigales” with the best vocal ensemble of Latin origin, La Venexiana, who have turned back the hands of history from “Monteverdi” to “Cavalli” to sing the “Madrigales” by the great Italian Renaissance composer, Lutzasco Lutzaschi (c.1545-1607). The singers will sing theLutzaski was in charge of Duke Alfonso’s private orchestra at the court of Ferrara at the end of the 16th century, and his “Madrigale Collection” published in 1601 includes some of the most famous “singing ladies” of Duke Alfonso’s orchestra.
