This is the long-awaited reissue of the extremely rare single “You Gotta Let Go / Don’t Let The Grass Grow” released in 1976 by MARCIA HINES, who is also well known for her cover of Irene Cara’s classic “What A Feeling” used in the movie “Flashdance”! This song is known as one of the best free soul songs of all time. The song starts with two guitars (cutting and wah guitar) and sparkling strings, and the euphoric melody line reaches its peak in the chorus. The original 7inch single was very expensive, so many single collectors have been in tears. Now, finally, the wish has come true and it has been reissued! Soul fans rejoice! The B-side features “Don’t Let The Grass Grow” just like the original. This is another free soul classic.
