Description:

Born in 1982, she began studying piano at age 6 and made her debut at age 9. In 1992, she moved to Spain with her family and studied piano at the Conservatory of La Corua. She subsequently honed her skills at the Royal Academy of Music in the UK, Indiana University South Bend, and the Yale School of Music, and is a young female pianist who has won prizes in numerous competitions. This album was produced to commemorate her victory at the 2011 Jan International Piano Competition held in Spain, though her name was already well known in Japan following her success at two competitions held there in 2010: the Takamatsu and Sendai competitions. Her expansive, beautiful tone and poetic expressiveness point to a brilliant future.Naxos Japan
