Description:

This is the 2022 work of percussionist and drummer Marilyn Mazur’s band SHAMANIA, which has performed with Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter, and Jan Garbarek, and has released many of its own leader albums. The band consists of 10 members, all women, and their sound is oriental~African, ethnic, with strong rhythms, melodies, and voices featured.Makiko Hirabayashi participates on piano/keyboards.
