German ambient artist Markus Guentners 2001 debut album is being reissued as an anniversary edition by Black Knoll Editions to commemorate its 25th anniversary! Released during the early days of Kompakts PopAmbient series, this albumwhich blends delicate melodies, slowly shifting harmonies, and a deep sense of spacestands as one of the defining ambient masterpieces of the early 21st century. Its influence continues to this day, with Kompakt founder Wolfgang Voigt describing him as one of the earliest and most important ambient artists. This 25th-anniversary edition features a full analog remaster by Rafael Anton Irizarri, as well as reworked tracks by Guentner himself. It also features new artwork created by the artist.
