German ambient artist Markus Guentners 2001 debut album is being reissued as an anniversary edition by BlackKnollEditions to commemorate its 25th anniversary! Released during the early days of Kompakts PopAmbient series, this albumwhich blends delicate melodies, slowly shifting harmonies, and a deep sense of spaceis one of the defining ambient masterpieces of the early 21st century. Its influence continues to this day, as evidenced by Kompakt founder Wolfgang Voigts description of Guentner as one of the earliest and most important ambient artists. This 25th-anniversary edition features a full analog remaster by Rafael Anton Irisarri, as well as reworked tracks by Guentner himself. It also features new artwork created by the artist.
