Founded in 1963 by world-renowned violinist Yehudi Menuhin, the prestigious Yehudi Menuhin School is a boarding school in the United Kingdom. Students aged 8 to 18 who have passed the entrance exam devote themselves to honing their classical music performance skills, in addition to their regular academic studies.This album is the result of a three-year collaboration between OrchidClassics and the school, featuring a diverse selection of works from Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, and the United States, performed by exceptionally talented students aged 12 to 18. The instruments they play include the piano, violin, guitar, harp, and more. Among the performers are violinist Kokoro Tomitawho received high acclaim during her concert tour in Japanher younger sister Yume Tomita, and guitarist Kotone Ozaki.Naxos Japan
