A collaboration between Ensemble MCMG and contemporary composers!Ensemble MCMG (Munich Contemporary Music Group) was founded in 2017. Composed primarily of flute, clarinet, saxophone, double bass, and piano (as well as electric bass and electronic instruments), the ensemble has performed with artists across a wide range of genres and has premiered numerous works worldwide. The ensemble has also garnered acclaim for its experimental programs at Georgias renowned music festival, Tbilisi Contemporary Music Evenings.This album features many works composed during the COVID-19 pandemic, including *ANHELODEMALECON*, flutist Yulia Valen participates as a virtual guest, and the track incorporates audio recorded on the streets of Havana in 2021capturing the citys ambient noise as it wasto realistically depict the post-pandemic atmosphere.Tokyo M Plus
