Yan Luvionova is a young French cellist who has won first prize at both the Andr Navarra International Competition and the Rostropovich International Competition, as well as achieving outstanding results in various other competitions; she also garnered attention by advancing to the finals of the 2017 Queen Elisabeth International Competition. She performs alongside violinist Melanie Clapier, who was born in France, attended the Yale School of Music, andas of 2018is based in New York, where she is active in a wide range of fields including performance, composition, and screenwriting.
