Formed in San Francisco in 1980, Metal Church made its debut in 1984 with the album *Metal Church* (original title: *Metal Church*) after several lineup changes.They steadily increased their sales with each album release, and their fourth album, *The Human Factor* (original title: *The Human Factor*), released in 1991, is widely regarded by fans as their masterpiece. To coincide with the albums release, the band embarked on the *Human Factor Tour*, comprising a total of 49 shows, including their first-ever performances in Japan. During this tour, their May 20 concert in the Netherlands was recorded and broadcast as a television and radio program.
