An album by recorder player Mikala Petri chronicling her journey of exploration into recorder music. This album showcases music from Denmark and the Faroe Islands, a Danish autonomous territory. The album features recorder concertos by three composers active in the contemporary music scene: Thomas Koppel, Per Guzmonsen-Holmgren, and Sunleif Ramsen, who was born in the Faroe Islands. Recorded in June 2015 with the Orbo Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Henrik Vaun Christensen. (C)RS
