Gbor Csalog entered the Franz Liszt Academy of Music at the age of 11, where he studied under a distinguished faculty that included Lnki Dezs, Zoltn Kocsis, Gyrgy Kurtg, and Andrs Schiff. He has since performed works by many contemporary Hungarian composers, including Lszl Szri, and has earned particular acclaim for his interpretations of Gyrgy Kurtgs music. This album features short pieces such as preludes and poems spanning Scriabins career from his early years to his later years, allowing listeners to trace his journey from a period influenced by Chopin to his emergence as a major European composer.Tokyo M-Plus
