A collection of works for string orchestra by Lithuanian composer Argildas Martinaitis.The works included span a 20-year period, from the early *Birds of Paradise* (1981) to the recently composed *Sad Waltz* (2020), illustrating the evolution of Martinaitiss diverse compositional style. “Three Mart Comedy Seasons,” inspired by Vivaldis *The Four Seasons*; “Birds of Paradise,” which spearheaded Lithuanias New Romanticism movement; Artizara, which makes effective use of the harpsichord; and Serenade for a European Mistress, in which occasional ironic undertones intermingle with gentle beautyall of these pieces allow listeners to experience Martynaitiss unique musical voice.
