Adam de la Cour is a British filmmaker and composer born in 1979. He studied under Michael Finnissy at the University of Southampton and composes unconventional piano pieces in the style of his mentor. Though it is contemporary music, its peculiar humor and twisted satire are thoroughly entertaining. Mark Noop, whom the composer trusts most, performs it masterfully. Also worth listening for is the renowned clarinetist Karl Rothman, who employs his extraordinary technique to create effects that sound like screams.Tokyo M Plus
