This is the second Elgar concert by Otomo Naoto, a conductor who continues to lead the Japanese music world, and the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, recorded live at the Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall in July 2024. Otomo and the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, who have been actively featuring British music for many years after serving as the orchestra’s regular and permanent conductors, make full use of their past experience, and Elgar is full of grandeur and enthusiasm full of both parties’ feelings.
