Canterbury Music’s last super band, National Health’s previously unreleased live archive is finally available on CD!As Hatfield and the North searched for their next project after disbanding, they made contact with various bands in Canterbury Music, and after a series of sessions, they went on to form a new band. With Hatfield and the North as the mother band, Egg, Gilgamesh, Henry Cow, Gong, Colosseum II, etc., diverse members participate in sessions and live performances.The live archive released this time is a live performance by the band just before the official members were chosen and the debut album was recorded, featuring core members Dave Stewart and Phil Miller along with ex-King Crimson’s Bill Bruford and ex-Egg’s Mont Campbell, and Amanda Parsons of Hatfield and the North on the chorus. The band will play eight concerts with this lineup as a warm-up gig before recording the album.
