Singer-songwriter Souad Masri, known as the “Algerian Joan Baez,” releases her new album. Guitarist and producer Justin Adams, who helmed her previous album ‘Sequana,’ returns to the helm for this album, recorded primarily in the UK. Here, Souad Masri explores not only intense emotions like pain, anger, and rebellion, but also hope and courage. Alongside guest appearances by Congolese rapper Youssoufa and Rwandan-French rapper Gal Fei, the album features a stellar band lineup including John Baggott (Massive Attack, Robert Plant) on keyboards, Billy Fuller (Robert Plant) on bass, and Howie Gill on drums.
