British organist and harpsichordist Nicholas Jackson is internationally known not only for his recording of Bach’s harpsichord concerto with the orchestra he founded in 1964, but also for his work as organist at two of London’s most famous churches (St. James and St. Lawrence) in the 1970s. He is known as an internationally renowned player. He is also an active Bach magnate, serving as director of the Bach Festival in Catalonia, Spain. In this album, he performs Bach’s “Harpsichord Concerto” and “Musical Tributes,” and the album concludes with Jackson’s arrangement of the Trio Sonata. Naxos Japan
