In 2017, American composer William Gilock marks the 100th anniversary of his birth. He enjoys immense popularity among piano students today and consistently ranks among the top sellers in sheet music. Not only that, but many pianists are drawn to the charm of his compositions, and his works are beginning to be featured in concerts as pieces for public performance. Why is Gilock attracting so much attention right now? To answer that question, three long-established Japanese record labels and Zen-On Music Publishing have joined forces for this collaborative project.
