One Shot was formed by James McGough and Philippe Boussonnais, who had been a source of creativity for the band after Magma’s resurgence in the late 1990s, with colleagues from Magma and others.After McGough’s death in 2009, the band was forced to disband, and this album includes a memorial show for McGough that was held in October of the same year with a special lineup that included the past members and guitarist Jim Grandcamp, who had played with Magma.The most important band around Magma, here is their last heroic performance as one strong unit!
