The popular French label Buda Musique has been releasing the “Zanzibara” series in parallel with the “Ethiopique” series. This time, the 11th release in the series is a new song “Muziki wa Dansi”, a popular song from Dar es Salaam (commonly known as Dar), the central city of Tanzania, which gained popularity in the 80’s. The first release of the series focused on the dance music called Muziki wa Dansi, which was popular in the 80s in Dar es Salaam (Dar), the central city of Tanzania. This album contains material from Orkestre Makis du Zaire and Orkestre Safari Sound, two groups that recorded music between 1982 and 1986. (C)RS
