The Danish Ortofon has more than 30 years of experience in designing and manufacturing magnetic pick-up elements. The 2M series (2M = MM = Moving Magnet) replaces the Super OM series, which has been a popular choice among vinyl enthusiasts for many years.

The elegant design is inspired by the cut diamond, and apart from the colour and the mounting of the diamond needle, the 2M Red is identical to the more expensive 2M Blue. This means that you only need a different replacement needle if you want to upgrade your cartridge later.
