This is the 1988 debut album released by SATANa legendary band of the N.W.O.B.H.M.after they changed their name to PARIAH in 19881989. A cult classic that showcases the ferocity of old-school thrash metal, it has been reissued by HAMMERHEART.With this album, SATANs evolution reached a temporary culmination, and their activities under the new name began in earnest. Building upon the concept of the fusion of NWOBHM and thrash metal presented on SATANs 1987 album *Suspended Sentence*, the band pushed the idea further, shifting toward a faster and more aggressive direction. Michael Jackson continues to handle vocals, lending the entire album an intense sense of tension with his raspy, raw delivery. The lineup remains virtually identical to that of the SATAN and BLINDFURY eras, meaning the core of the band has not changed. The twin guitar work of Russ Tippins and Steve Ramsey is overwhelming on this
