Recently, as his music has been used in film scores and other contexts, there have been more opportunities to hear the music of Prt (1935). Much of it has a clear and simple sound, much like *Mirror in the Mirror*, and perhaps because of this, many people seem to view Prt as a healing composer. This documentary, filmed around 1990, provides a detailed account of Prts state of mind at the time. It explains the transformation he underwentfrom composing intense works in the early stages of his career that drew on neoclassical styles, twelve-tone technique, and serials, to (having studied Gregorian chant and Renaissance music) to arrive at the Tintinnabuli style.
