The Tuscan duo Petra Magoni & Finaz have released a concept album on LP that walks a tightrope (Equilibrismi) through 20th-century avant-garde using extended vocals and guitar. Giulio Cesare Ricci mastered the LP using a fully analog, tube-based Signor Ricci system.Blending literature, poetry, and music through improvisational inspiration, they boldly reinterpret works by Palazzeschi, Cage, Marinetti, Lennon-McCartney, Sting, and others. As originals and arrangements blend seamlessly, these two “tightrope walkers”exploring the balance of creativity, technique, and emotionpaint a drama of tension and release.
