Mozarts Piano Concertos performed by Piero Barbareschi, a fellow student of Ciani! This recording features the composers own piano and string quartet arrangements of two of Mozarts favorite piano concertos: No. 12 and No. 14! Mozart applied his operatic compositional techniques to his piano concertos as well. By arranging these concertos for a small chamber ensemble, he incorporated operatic scenes into a chamber music context and created a dialogue between the soloists.
