Pietro Solachi is a highly accomplished pianist who displayed precocious talent from an early age and was named the best Italian pianist at the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. He has taught for many years at the Milan Conservatory and has earned high acclaim for his recordings of Bachs complete keyboard works, as well as those of Stravinsky and Chopin.
