Produced by Adrian Sherwood, this cult classic 1982 post-punk x dub album is being reissued on vinyl!Bruce Smith, known as the (former) husband of Neneh Cherry and the drummer for the Pop Group, is a pivotal figure in the UK dub scene. He was also a member of the New Age Steppers, played a central role in the ON-U Sound, and formed Rip Rig & Panic. This album is a project he spearheaded, recorded in 1982the same year as Rip Rig & Panicand produced by ON-U Sounds leader, Adrian Sherwood. The sound, which feels like a more chaotic and punk-infused version of the New Age Steppers, still sounds fresh today.The backing musicians include a lineup of seasoned pros led by Style Scott, known for his work with Creation Level and the New Age Steppers.
