Quatuor Ellipsos

Description:

The Ellipsos Quartet is an ensemble composed primarily of French musicians that made its debut in 2004. With the exception of the piece by Franaix, the program consists of arrangements, but it offers a taste of the sophisticated atmosphere found in works by Ravel and others. Thierry Esquet is a contemporary French organist and composer. These are delightful little pieces with hints of jazz and tango. In the closing Bolro, enjoy how the four saxophones bring out the pieces dynamic energy.Tobu Land System
