• For A Day At the Races, the fifth studio album from British rock icons Queen, the band extended the magic of A Night At The Opera into a record often considered a sequel. The huge success of the previous album, which saw Freddie Mercury win his second Ivor Novello Award for “Bohemian Rhapsody”, gave the group a much-needed confidence boost as they began work on this project.
