Description:

This is a collection of piano works by Lindberg (1958), one of Finlands contemporary composers. It includes pieces written in the 1970s and early 1980s, as well as works composed in the 21st century. In particular, the 12-year span between Himo (1988) and Jubilee (2000) can be said to have provided ample time for his compositional style to mature. The beautiful, enigmatic, and shimmering timbre evokes a texture reminiscent of Messiaens works. [Comment provided by Naxos Japan]
